Before I forget, this bug was discovered using an Asus K50ij laptop. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/776076 Title: Audio player doesn't allow for audio volume changes -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 776076] Re: Audio player doesn't allow for audio volume changes
Did some fiddling around, it seems to be an issue with a file lock in the ~/.pulse directory. Deleting this directory and doing pulseaudio --start allowed me to access the Sound Preferences menu and change volume by fn f11/fn f12, along with mute with fn f10, however, the sound bar in the notifications applet shows Label Empty and an unusable volume adjustment bar. ** Package changed: ubuntu = pulseaudio (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/776076 Title: Audio player doesn't allow for audio volume changes -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
