[Dell Inspiron N5040] system halted after press Fn+F2(wireless
With properly installed of bcmwl-kernel-source with kernel
2.6.38-11.48(the linux-headers should be installed too), the Fn+F2 won't
halt the system.

[Dell Inspiron N5040] system halted after press Fn+F2(wireless
Actually the wlan module is wlan only without BT.
Wlan is BCM4313(DW1503).
Below is the result from cating /sys/kernel/debug/dell_laptop/rfkill, the
bluetooth is indicated as installed, so it should be a bug of BIOS.
With properly installed of bcmwl-kernel-source(with correct header files
Back to confirmed, as Tim replied to the question

I checked this issue with Tim days ago.
As described in comment #5, bcmwl-kernel-souce did not work because that
linux-headers-* packages were not installed, which are necessary for
this dkms package.
There was no more hang after all the packages installed in my previous
testing. But I will
The hardware has a Broadcom wireless adapter and it is using
brcm80211, the Broadcom driver in the kernel/staging. It could be of
bad quality in 2.6.38.
@Tim, can you try to install the proprietary Broadcom driver package
bcmwl-kernel-source and see if the issue still occurs with it?
** Changed
Wlan is Broadcom 1503.
Wifi can't work with installed with bcmwl-kernel-source, but Fn+F2 won't halt
the system.
Removed bcmwl-kernel-source and test again, Fn+F2 will halt the system.
