Public bug reported: Since (I think) the launch of ubuntu indicators - and the move of Tomboy icon to that place - I noticed that hitting F12 to open the notes dropdown or alt+F12 to create a new note is not working anymore. I've seen this bug in an Ubuntu 11.04 fresh install and also in Linux Mint 11 - based on Ubuntu 11.04.
Tried using compiz bindings to shortcuts to run "tomboy --new-note" or "tomboy --search" but they doesn't work as the global shortcuts offered by Tomboy. Please, take a look at that, since it cuts a lot of usability and ease of use of Tomboy. ** Affects: tomboy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/805623 Title: Global shortcuts doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tomboy/+bug/805623/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
