Public bug reported:

I am having issues with usb speed on my Asus G51VX-RX05 laptop. Bios
settings have been checked and are not the problem.

All usb device run at 1.5 or 12 Mbps, while my internal 1.3 UVC webcam
and both internal sata drivers run at 480 Mbps no problem.

Keyboard runs at 1.5, mouse and external webcam at 12, and also my
Creative X-fi 5.1 usb soundcard runs at 12.

This causes issues when running skype and listening to music, as the
audio pops and I get mouse lag due to the slow USB speed.

However, USB sticks and external hard drives run at full 2.0 speed.
