Always reproducible.

Steps to reproduce:
 * open nautilus
 * double-click a jpg file or any other type

observed: the associated application starts, but the user does not know until 
its window eventually opens
expected: a busy cursor is displays until the application starts

This is a regression, though in previous versions of ubuntu, only gtk+
applications behave as expected, other (libreoffice, qt apps) don't (bug
#798304).
