If your microphone is integrated to a webcam, then run Cheese and Skype or
Cheese and Audio Recorder, but you must all ways run Cheese!
The record speed will be normal and not more at 1/2, and when I play back it
is perfect.

Copy and past into a terminal this cmd: sudo apt-get remove pidgin-skype
