I have had the same bug. I have a dual nvidia card (2 or 4 monitors) ge
440 and gt 550 ti. The problem is only when I try to use xinerama mode
in unity 3d with dual card. gone 3 does not work. unity 2d and kde+kwin
works. I laso have xrandr error about missing parameters (when I use
unity 2d)

compiz crashed with SIGSEGV in CompositeScreen::compositingActive()
To manage
same issue login using xrdp, but no launcher icons nor the top bar. I
intend to use this computer as media/VM server without any devices
connected to it. Currently trying to set it up with display, keyboard
and mouse connected, compiz crashes when logging in from another PC
using xrdp.

Just installed XRDP and attempted to use terminal services from a
windows box to connect - Compiz crashed a few minutes into attempting to
load the desktop of the RDP session. The RDP session did not fail, is
not hung, mouse moves but no icons or dashboard shows up, just the
background that I had
My Compiz also just crashed, Fresh install.
