Since I deleted the revelation config file it worked again. Here, the file is located in: .gnome2/revelation the content only has one line. Dock=searchbar\\0,2,0,0\\Toolbar\\0,1,0,0\\Menubar\\0,0,0,0 Try to delete the file and restart the application. Same issue on my 12.04 version with Unity. Since a long list of users have subscribed to this bug, we obviously need someone to fix it. Unfortunately revelation hasn't been developed since a long time. Mikkel has collected a couple of fixes and released 0.4.12, see http://revelation.olasagasti.info/. Maybe it's already fixed, also there is a bugtracker available there.
