I tested the proposed fix of lightdm-gtk-greeter and it does resizes the
fonts on demand now.

build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/lightdm-gtk-greeter/1.1.5-0ubuntu1.1 in a few hours, and then in the
-proposed repository.

Yes, I'd appreciate that if you don't mind (not that I'm sure I'll be
able/have enough time to maintain it properly, but at least I can commit
bugfixes when you can't). Thanks.
