Public bug reported: Main problem: Samba gvfs mounts mounted by nautilus was not found in ~/.gvfs
When running strace -ft /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd -r [pid 13211] 00:24:39 execve("/usr/lib/gvfs//gvfs-fuse-daemon", ["/usr/lib/gvfs//gvfs-fuse-daemon", "/home/joni/.gvfs"], [/* 67 vars */]) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory) So file /usr/lib/gvfs//gvfs-fuse-daemon was missing. Installed gvfs-fuse package fixed all problems described above. I think the problem is that I could have nautilus connecting to samba share while gvfs-fuse package wasn't installed? > more /etc/issue Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS \n \l related question: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+question/189006 ** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/942834 Title: Should gvfs-dbg be depends on gvfs-fuse?
