This appears to be an intentional decision by Unity design to change the shortcuts in 12.04: Ctrl+Alt+4 -- Super+Left Ctrl+Alt+6 -- Super+Right This is described in bug 751050. Same behaviour as reply #1 above. Unity: 5.6.0-0ubuntu4, nvidia graphics card, checked with num lock on and off. Ctrl+Alt+numpad5 works ok. Same thing here.
