I do not experience the problem any more with the today (20120327.1)
beta2 version. So I considered it fixed.

Sorry for considering it fixed. I shut down the system and rebooted it and now
myunity icon has been substituted by a question mark icon.

If not probably this issue is related to MyUnity and it's way to manage the

I installed compiz too and the problem is not present. I unlock the
question mark icon from the laucher the lock it again and I get the
correct icon.
