Public bug reported: When I resize window to take half of the screen (by using super+left arrow, or by dragging it to the left), switch workspace to the right one, and try to switch back to the left workspace by clicking on the application icon in the launcher instead of switching workspaces application is first moved to the bottom right workspace and then to the top one.
