problems, graphics or otherwise.

I get this crash report after every reboot approx. two-three minutes
after login. I have never experienced any sort of glitching or other
graphical problems however, so since nothing appears to be broken, is
there any way to turn off this error message?

I keep getting the same crash report. I am new to Ubuntu and like it but
it pops up on every boot like 3 times when I don't see any problem

Same with Lenovo X61. I try with 3.1 kernel from 11.10 to check if it
helps.
I will post photo when the problem re-occurs.

[i965gm] GPU
This error happens to me every time I reboot. I'm running 12.04 on a
macbook with dual screen monitors. There doesn't appear to be any screen
stretching before the error.

@Marco, can you attach a photo? Or, review Joel's description in #4 and
explain what you see (if it's different).

Could you describe the horizontal stretching in more detail?
Has the bug happened again since you initially reported it?
When you saw the horizontal stretching, do you recall was the system frozen
(requiring a hard power reset?)
** Summary changed:
- [i965gm] GPU lockup EIR:
I can't recall exactly how it looked. The stretching iirc wasn't just
horizontal, it was in both axes: as though I was zoomed in on the top
left corner of the framebuffer. The stretching wasn't a straight
magnification, it appeared as though every second column of pixels were
missing (black?).
