Same thing here on my netbook (Samsung N310). If I leave the computer unused for an hour, it goes to suspend, but then doesn't resume, leaves me with a black screen and a pointer. Same thing happenes randomly on my Lenovo Ideapad S12 (Atom netbook with Intel graphics).
