2012-07-22 Thread Robert Roth
Reassigned to shimmer-themes, the package the Xubuntu theme Greybird is
in, as this seems to be a more generic theming issue, as it also happens
with evince, so it is not strictly a GNOME System Monitor issue.

[Bug 989581] Re: Black areas in gnome-system-monitor graphs when running under xfce

2012-07-22 Thread Simon Steinbeiß
This bug has nothing to do with shimmer-themes. If you're using a Gtk2 theme
that doesn't supply Gtk3 support you're basically on your own.
We _try_ to only install themes from now on that have a Gtk2 and Gtk3 variant,
but obviously users can also install themes themselves that don't have Gtk3
support.

All in all there's nothing to fix here.

[Bug 989581] Re: Black areas in gnome-system-monitor graphs when running under xfce

2012-05-06 Thread Roman Pach
The issue is, that you have not set up the gtk3 theme in xubuntu.
It should better be done by xubuntu desktop, I think.
So it's anyway a kind of bug.

See please the blog on

http://binbashblog.blogspot.de/2011/10/manually-change-gtk3-theme-in-xubuntu.html

The following has helped:
  cp -r /usr/share/themes/greybird/gtk-3.0 ~/.config

For root account you need:
  sudo cp -r /usr/share/themes/greybird/gtk-3.0 /root/.config

There were the problem with black areas with other gtk3 application as well,
e.g. evince.
