Shotwell does not appear in Launcher as running nor in Alt-Tab
It might the same issue as bug #772986 and bug #978392... or not! In my
case, on 12.04 freshly updated with Shotwell 0.12.3, the problem occurs
only with Shotwell, as all other open/active apps icons appear in the
launcher, event those that are not pinned.

Thank you for your bug report, does it fix itself after a session
restart? Did you add it to the launcher in the same session? That seems
similar to bug #772986 or bug #978392

Yes! That's it!
After I started a new session, it works - in the launcher as well as in the
Alt-Tab sequence!
So it is the same issue and not associated with Shotwell, I suppose, but
rather with pinning something to the launcher!
