Public bug reported:

Sipe plugin to pidgin in 11.10 worked very well. After upgrading to
12.04 it no longer works.  Keep getting the password dialogue and the
only error presented is:

nicolai.langfe...@ventelo.no,no\niclan disconnected 
read error

A number of my colleagues are experiencing the same as they upgrade to
12.04.
