out it had to uninstall nvidia-glx before performing the upgrade. After
the upgrade, I reinstalled nvidia-glx and everything worked fine.

seems to have solved the issue:

it is both with dapper and breezy. It looks like a bug(s) in gnome. I get
many error messages. It doens't happen when the clock is set to a more
reasonable time (like the year 2006).

I don't think this is a bug rather than an info message, so I will close
this bug. This might be a bug if you consider showing these messages to
the user one. But on Dapper and Edgy, there was much progress in making
the boot process more quiet, so I think this is just out of date ;)

In both Dapper and Edgy the ltsp-build-client script exits immediately
after debootstrap has finished. In Dapper I have to comment out
debootstrap and re-run to finish, and in Edgy I have to move the file
010-debootstrap out of the /usr/share/ltsp/plugins/ltsp-build-
What exactly is wrong about this behaviour? It does exactly what it's
supposed to do.
Also, I firmly oppose to the idea of an interactive question. It would
not make sense to add questions to all programs in the world when you
execute them as root.
