directory is encrypted in /dev/sda6. Steps to reproduce (after setting
up pam_mount etc. in Ubuntu 8.04.1):
1. Log in as me (bill) via gdm.
2. Log out.
3. Log in as joe, a member of admin group.
4. As joe, do

are you sure this is caused by problems with missing root persmissions?
In my experience, when gdm this bug does not appear (e.g. cifs mounts
are unmounted properly), while it occurs when using ssh or su.
I’m assuming that your problem is a different bug.

I am using Intrepid, and the annoying password dialog appears when I try
to push changes to a github repo. The problem is that the dialog does
not accept any clipboard pasting or dropping, which means I have to type
in my passphrase (which is long) by hand. I managed to get rid of this
dialog in
I added deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ebox/ubuntu intrepid main to my
sources.list and it solved the problem of not finding the libapache-
authcookie-perl package.
ebox is installed and working on 8.10 for me with that repo added.

adding SLEEP 3 to mysqld_safe script did not help
also I noticed that init.d/mysql stop did not stop the process, i had to
kill XX manually
and then restart. I have both sleep 3 and ER_LOGGER= in place and its
still juping between 80-99%

Then locate the entry general.useragent.vendor
