Public bug reported:
Hi
On a standard Ubuntu Server installation which I did around karmic and
upgraded to lucid, I'm running lucid vms created with ubuntu-vm-builder.
I've noticed that on startup, /var/log/libvirt/qemu/vm-name.log says:

I Agree, KVM without remote management is silly. Fedora seems to have it
solved, currently I use KVM/virsh on a Fedora 13 host (libvirt-

I wonder if maybe a backport of 5.1.49 from Maverick would be a better
choice than pushing this into updates, given that Karmic will be EOL in

Looks like kernel 2.6.35.4-maverick (2.6.35-02063504-generic

I've been transferring hundreds of GB between two drives for the past

basically you have to have the insmod tga to recognize the image file.
I have used:

Here, i can see that error in my xsession-errors file, for gnome-
settings-daemon, at each boot/reboot. (first error appearing in the
file, mentionned twice)

I get this kind of garbling as I mentioned. Affects tray icons,
Konqueror icons, Digikam thumbnails, Possibly all (KDE?) software.

It happens often but quite randomly. And might fix itself but might
happen soon again. Digikam was impossible to use after I got this error
there.
But I might still congratulate the Nouveau developers for doing an
excellent job! XRANDR support is what counts here the most for me.

This crash occurred while installing digikam. I'm sorry I don't have
more information. I had installed the following ppas:
ppa:nuovodna/nuovodna-stuff
ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa
ppa:philip5/kde44
In an attempt to upgrade digikam to v. 1.4.0.
