The Open-SSH client manages to use the correct key file
(linux_test_server*) although it has not been specified (see commands
below). However, after removing the correct key file from ~/.ssh the

know if this causes any unwanted side effects.
BTW it seems really strange to me that this issue exists since more than
four years now! It's impossible to use SWAT out of the box on ubuntu
unless you searched the web.

Actually, I'm seeing it on any remote SSH connection (either to a
Canonical DC or to my own shared server).
I'm in Taipei at the moment so I'll try again here just to see if
there's something wonky on my end (router, or switch maybe) causing the
SSH connection do hang...
As for the

SSH to drop to password validation.

After yesterdays update to linux-image-2.6.32-24-generic, my system crashes
(not only X) after showing the boot splash screen. SSH to the machine is not
possible anymore, Ctrl-Alt-F1 does not change to a console.
The only workaround is to choose
Hrm... actually it seems to behave a bit differently in maverick. It
used to do a lazy unmount of the fs, which removed it from the namespace
so no new processes could access the old mount. Now it appears it never
unmounts the old disc. I can hit the eject button while a terminal has
an open

Intstalled cue2toc and cdrdao via synaptic, so cdrdao is installed now, still
