There is a problem with the update of clamav, freshclam typing in the

I'm not sure freshclam was ment to be run by a normal user. There's a
freshclam daemon, which runs in the background as 'clamav' user, and it
takes care of updating the database. If you run it as a normal user, it
won't have permissions to open the logfiles, to open the database
directory, etc.

accessing the SVN of a client. So I built maverick's subversion package

Not a cheese bug. Cheese is just a recording program, it displays the
video output from the webcam. and it can only make software changes.
The webcam settings [FPS, etc..] are controlled by the drivers and how
far the webcam driver support has been done for the particular webcam
model.
To test,

Even more confusing is that if you then create a file in in terminal 1
while still apparently working in the old non-existent dir, it then
appears in terminal 2 in the newly re-located dir, So bash clearly knows
where we really are it's just not updating the prompt. This also happens

Well, I can confirm this on Ubuntu 10.10. Unfortunately I did not notice
before now that this bug report is about savage. It seems most 3D usage
will make xorg crash, with the same stack trace as you have in your
kern.log:

My flickers was to bad. I could not see the screen from behind them. In

I just thought about this again, and while disabling the b43 driver
would have made sense in maverick, doing so in an SRU isn't really the
best thing IMHO. People will see this right after installation (where
updates aren't installed yet?) or even on the live CD. Also, when
installing
