Yes it works after installing the packages kde-l10n-de kde-l10n-zhcn and

MC Return: why "invalid"? I install 13.04 clean, log in to the default
GNOME 3.6 shell, set up Wobbly Windows in compiz and compiz-extras and

After upgrading my Nvidia Optimus powered laptop to 3.5.0-27 I

Ah. OK, thanks for the clarification, then. :-) Gee, and here I was
growing to like the look of that shell. But I won't run a shell that
doesn't do Wobbly! I stopped using LinuxMint's promising shell variant

On my probook 4340s wifi works fine without special drivers, without
blacklist and anything. With that compiled drivers or with drivers from
git, It didn't worked. Try it.
Kernel 3.8.6. - works
With latest 3.7.x - usb 3.0 didn't work.

There is no replacement for Compiz, indeed ;)
If it is just about wobbly windows though, AFAIK KWin (the window manager of
KDE) also has this feature.
Btw, you can use Compiz with many different Desktop Environments,
including KDE, just not with gnome-shell...

I've established the cause: it's due to having a USB Hub attached to a
USB socket (on the rear of the PC as there are no front USB sockets on
this PC). I've also found out that this occurs on 64 bit Precise (as
