eth0 and eth1 both plug into a Cisco switch. They are on separate vlans.
eth0 is an internal ip range (10.10.x.x) and eth1 is used for a pool of
public IP addresses we have (203.0.141.x).

Noticed this after an upgrade to raring on a Macbookpro 8,1.
After resuming the machine from sleeping, getting an IP address through
the network manager takes anything between 30 seconds and a minute.
Whereas in quantal it took approx. 10 seconds max.

In both cases clicking on load in AptonCD does nothing. In previous
versions of Ubuntu I've had a similar problem and installing HAL has fixed

I freshly installed Ubuntu 13.04 a week ago, used for a couple days with
no problems and then found out I can enable proprietary driver for my
wireless adapter. I enabled it but it didn't function properly (it
didn't connect to some routers).

launcher to the taskbar and reboot the launcher loads in the centre of
the bar, i have to delete it and re-attach after each reboot. How can
you fix this, its driving me mad and ive gone back to my win7 partion,

I'm expecting very same crash (reproducible). I had one disk in volume
group and system-config-lvm worked. When I added second disk to the
volume group using system-config-lvm, application crashed and after that
it won't start anymore.
These reports are slightly similar:

time of writing) 13.04 of Ubuntu and it still occurs.
