I talked with seb128 and wants to re-evaluate the way of shortcuts
handling, so this is a transitional solution in trusty. We have a chance
to get rid of ibus integration from GNOME in trusty to avoid such odd

Interestingly some time after the report I have noticed this behavior on
my laptop with fglrx too. But after upgrading both systems to the Linux
kernel 3.12 (Ubuntu 14.04 dev with linux-image-generic 3.12.0.2.4) the
bug is gone. I'm seeing the complete output on booting and setting quiet
will suppr
FWIW, a workaround is to switch to a console with Alt+Ctrl+F1 and switch
back with Alt-Ctrl-F7. At least the infinite loop is then interrupted.
