the upstream bug applies to GNOME 3.10 and not our 3.8 version.

I experienced this bug since the update from 13.04 to 13.10
This is probably a unity bug, but it only occurs with nautilus file
manager.
Steps to reproduce:
- Drag nautilus to the right or left edge to activate unity snapping feature
- Then drag nautilus to the top edge to

Is the test case that leaves HUD in a bad state. After running this
test, starting unity8 up again causes HUD to segfault.

Just as a comment, I don't know how you are doing your user testing but
from what we see in Ubuntu/on launchpad, the current settings are
working quite nicely. We tried quite some different behaviour, timing,
options in the past and we always had some
