You are trying to install in BIOS mode to a hard disk that is
partitioned with GPT. To do this you need to create a 1 mb bios_grub
partition on the drive, or install in EFI mode instead, or repartition
the drive to use MBR instead of GPT.

That's disappointing. I too have never had any problems with hibernation
--except for it not getting enabled by default in installers!

Hello, I already know the kernel patches that needs to be applied, but
no, I won't upload patches for an RC-not-yet-released kernel.
so please come back if you plan to release that kernel for artful,

Note, the actual manpage makes no mention of the package. Which is
how it should be, as the manpage comes from upstream and not from
Ubuntu.
So if this is a bug, it is a bug against manpages.ubuntu.com.

The package libvirt0-1.3.1-1ubuntu10.10 included in Ubuntu 16.04 breaks
libvirt-bin 3.4+ compiled from official libvirt sources. It should be replaced
by a dummy package.
I've tested this with libvirt 3.4 and libvirt 3.5, both versions will fail if
libvirt0 is installed.
