BTW, I think this is a problem specifically with Dell custom thunderbolt
docs - they do a bit more than straight forward TB3 docs, at the minimum
they have overspeced power output to handle Precisions' huge power
budget, but maybe they do more stuff?
I also run my Precision with a standard TB3
Problem reproduced, and also verified that the test packages fix it.

As suggested by @Daniel, I have removed all extensions and been using
default Ubuntu DE all day. Sadly, the keyboard freeze is annoyingly
present in default Ubuntu session as well.The workaround fixes the issue
as discussed before.
PS : I also removed the Yaru install through Ubuntu Software to
