I ran a quick smoke test on the packages ibm-java80-jre and ibm-java80-jdk
(both from "-proposed partner" in version 8.0.5.35) and it's content (install,
upgrade, package info, version, help, compile, verbose compile and program
execution).
So far everything looks and works like expected.
So
This looks like a possible use-after-free so likely has a security
impact (at a minimum it is a denial of service due to the crash,
especially if it can be triggered remotely) - I've reported it to ISC as
such who will hopefully assign a CVE and then we can fix it as a
security update. For future

the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
