Reproduced on 19.10 Ubuntu image (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-
live/20191016.5/eoan-desktop-amd64.iso) on a Dell XPS 13 running with
UEFI and Secure Boot.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Boot the 19.10 image
2. Select "Install Ubuntu"
3. Try to connect to a WiFi network
→ after a while, an error windo
Maybe the best solution is to install such links in every kernel related
source packages built kernel image packages themselves. :X

integration with PolicyKit.
You could try running either `pkexec lmt-config-gui` or `lmt-config-gui-pkexec`.

Is there a separate bug somewhere about actually implementing custom
policies? Since 19.10 switched Chromium to Snap this means that not
having those is an actual regression compared to 18.10 or 19.04, so I'd

Hello,
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately your solution isn't working for me.
I enabled the "NVIDIA On-Demand" parameter from nvidia-settings, then restarted
my computer and exported all the env variables. I tried to launch a game, CS:GO
for example, and when I type "mat_info" to see
FYI: I pinged on the Debian ITP to get an idea if/who worked on this
already and to which amount.

There is no upgrading issue when using nvidia-graphics-drivers-430
430.50-0ubuntu1~0.18.04.3 on ppa:albertomilone/lp1847979.
However xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-418 is removed and
xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-430 is not installed.

When booting live, there is a delay of 1 min 30 seconds (tested in
Kubuntu, Lubuntu and Xubuntu, but not in standard Ubuntu. It can be seen
when booted (live) without 'quiet splash'.
I think the delay is caused by the logic concerning wifi, and I suspect
that it is connected to the issue of this b

Regarding comment #5, xserver-xorg-video-nvidia-430 depends on

I just tested, without acpi_osi= , it freezes. I'd love to provide more
details but as I said, it is just a blank screen with cursor, external
HDD light is off, caps lock doesn't seem to work.

I've added some more info there as well, most importantly that LO will silently
overwrite anything that already exists with the truncated name, e.g. trying to
save "clobber#1.odt" will overwrite an existing "clobber".
