device that had a file attached and then detached. No matter if it's the
next available or not. So, if you create a new loop device without ever

In my case, ASUS ZenBook Pro 15 UX580GE, Ubuntu 19.10, touchpad is

i can confirm this behavior in Linux. i am running same version as
reporter on debian unstable (bug 1602759). i would add that those files
contain copies of sent emails. sometimes spotted even plain text where
the sent email was encrypted. i tried running `thunderbird --verbose`
but it did not

DKMS builds for 5.4 kernels on bionic won't work with 5.4 kernel from
focal, unless the toolchain is updated, as there is a new gcc feature
used when building such kernel. A future 5.4 kernel backported to bionic
will not use that feature and, then, dkms packages will build just fine
for that.
Anyway, the build work just fine with 5.3 and 4.15 kernels, so marking
this bug as verified.

Which component is responsible for linking
~/snap/packagename/current/.themes? Is this a per snap functionality or
snapd that would produce this? Currently it's broken for at least the
snaps listed in the description.
