I guess that's good to know that it does not really work without a
release file now anyway, it is a good argument for removing support for
such repos completely. I made a plan a year or two ago, but have not
acted on it yet :/
Please add a Release file. It gives you download progress, hash checks,
I think the answer is simple: We should stop sending If-Modified-Since.
There's no advantage to sending that compared to getting back the same
release file, and it's a bad design.

Yes, I think those packages will have to be removed from -proposed,
sadly. It seems the sru-report (pending-srus page) goes through the
.changes files for each upload (via .changesFileUrl() calls) to
determine which bugs are being tracked, but those are syncs from Debian
and do not have any .change
This bug is affecting me as well, I have a USB pre-amp (which also works
as audio card) and sounds emits just fine there. However, when I plug in
my headphones directly into my laptop, only sometimes I get the gnome
popup asking me what kind of device I plugged in.

The same issue on Acer Swift 5F314-56 model N17W7 with Realtek ALC256

1. Install Ubuntu MATE 20.04 LTS
2. Install non-default terminal - Tilix, by `sudo apt-get install tilix`
3. Install terminal-based application - Midnight Commander, by `sudo apt-get
install mc`
3. Set Tilix as default terminal in `mate-defaul
With openssl 1.1.1f-1ubuntu1 Qvpn from Qnap works again, so this bug can
be closed IMHO.

I've just tried to provision a new VM (via uvtools) using the latest
focal kernel (5.4.0-25-generic) and it seems to boot fine with 256MB of
memory. However, I haven't tried to do the release upgrade from 19.10
(I'll test this later).
