SRU Justification
Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly
So you are saying that ubuntu 20.04 is unsuitable as the basis for a
developer system because the stability criteria actually forbid to fix a
packaging bug that makes it unusable?

Disregard my last comment (#15) ...
I was confused for a second between :
#define PHYS_MASK ((1UL << PHYS_MASK_SHIFT) - 1)
#define PMD_SECTION_MASK((1UL << 40) - 1)
so PMD_SECTION_MASK fix is not found in debian yet.
I'll sponsor the debdiff over the weekend.

I ran all 4 commands posted by Erikas in #150. I am not sure what fixed
it as I did not stop to test between commands. But I made it an sh
script as Viktor suggested.

I am on ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS, when i run sudo do-release-upgrade -d i get
the following message:
Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
This was likely caused by:
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu
@paulw2u If I'm wrong, please correct me. IMO it is 'Invalid' as it
could not be reproduced in newer releases. Also, 15.04 and 15.10 both
are not being supported anymore. So, I guess the status of either
'Invalid' or 'Fix Released' should be ok. By the way, I guess I had
changed only the status of
1 - 100 of 489 matches
