There is a burnt trace on it. I might be able to fix it with wire and solder.
However, are there drivers for CT4670?
Doesn't help my computer crashed.

I did try to go to keyboard properties and use the drop-down selection
box to select the keyboard model, but all I got was

All media keys and Fn+F(2, 5, 8, 9, 12) all had NO output.
Fn+F1 had:
keycode 133 = (keysym 0xffeb, Super_L), state = 0x0
keycode 46 = (keysym 0x6c, l), state = 0x40

I have a Compaq 1200 laptop (12xl300 to be exact). When I got it, it had
ME on it. Knowing how it is, I decided to install Ubuntu. All I had was
a 9.04 disk. Installed and worked without a hitch. I decided to upgrade
to 9.10 online. We do have a slow Internet connection at

One last thing: When booted up, it says my battery is fully charged when
plugged in, no matter the percentage. So the battery slowly discharges
even when plugged in. The battery is brand new.

Scratch that last comment; charging is just fine. It appears ~75% and
above, and stays at said percentage.
However, volume, internet, and playback controls don't work (fn-f9 for
play, fn-f10 for stop, etc.)

computer. I expected it to play sound the minute I put it in. Instead,
