There are no performance reasons for turning CTL or CJK on/off as far as
I can recall. Just the explosion of bewildering extra features for
users of plain-old-latin scripts.
Perhaps the least contentious solution is to additionally enable the CTL
(or CJK) features on windows if a window keyboard
Well if unity/gnome-shell additionally parsed the desktop mime-type
record and split application/FOO and application/vnd.BAR.FOO to make FOO
a search term then that'd be quite useful.
Anyway, lets leave this specific bug as fixed and file additional ones
if necessary for extra search terms.

I'm not 100% convinced this is the complete fix. But it reportedly
improves things, so lets put it in. I kind of feel the ComboBox itself
should be larger rather the adjust the subedit within it, but maybe I'm
misunderstanding the problem.

There is some use of the fileview thing in dbaccess as well for some
non-fileopen dialog purpose. Maybe there we need to explicitly enable
the possibility to delete as there presumably isn't any other way to do

The original report is from the Mac, but the recent storm is for gtk.
There are different backends involved. So there are really two different
bugs in here. A Mac one and a Gtk one.

And the last patch should allow stuff like ctrl+b to work on the mac
even if the current keymap is Russian, which is the other older half of

8430x11700 pixels is the problem, it's considered excessive by the
import. If you scale it down to e.g. half that resolution it would
import fine. I'll raise the limit of 256M per image to 512M.

a) In any version of LibreOffice in the print dialog or in printer options
you can temporarily override the default print job format for that document for
the current session. That won't stick permanently (it's not supposed to).
b) In spadmin it *should* have been possible to override the print
This is (hopefully) now implemented for windows, i.e. any CTL keyboards
installed then CTL is enabled, similarly for CJK. So remaining I guess
is something similar for Linux/Mac.

Yeah, the feature is supposed to now be language dependant. i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd
for English, while 1er, 2e, etc. for French.
3.6 is busted in that it carefully determines that e.g. st is indeed the
right suffix for English but then ignores it
we only fixed it yesterday, it will be available in 3.6.2, there's a bot
that's supposed to fill that info in, appears to have failed in this
case.
