powermanager displays a notification that tells me about the event. For
me, the events are quite obvious and accompanied by other things

This is still a bug. As Juanca noted, using -S does not solve the issue.
I was trying to build the debian-installer, and the make always failed
because of this exact issue. When I changed the -S to -f, apt-get
started working again. I have reopened the bug as 'confirmed'.

I have a stereo set of speakers hooked to my sound card via an analog
connection. I lost sound in mythfrontend when I upgraded from jaunty to
karmic. To get sound back, I had to change my sound output device from
ALSA:default to ALSA:surround51. My guess is that the default alsa

I can confirm this same problem with my Nokia 770. Using cp, gnomevfs-
copy, nautilus or konqueror to copy all lock up around 71 MB, regardless
if I'm copying over the files one at a time or en masse to a 2 gb card.
At that point, the card becomes corrupt and I have to reformat.

The evdev swap axes property has been deprecated since Natty. We are
aware of issues with swap axes and the new masked valuators, but we
don't have plans to resolve them.
There is a much more robust solution in the form of the Input
Transformation Matrix property. It allows for any 2D

every evdev sync event, and only new values are set. I think this is

Since the feature freeze exception was granted for adding clickpad
support, I decided to revert the change in behavior. ClickPad devices
now have a better way of performing a press-and-drag, so the need for
locked drags has been alleviated.

I just uploaded a new version of xserver-xorg-input-synaptics with
clickpad support. Please try it out without setting the Synaptics Area
property. It should make press-and-drag work without having to mask out
a bottom area of the trackpad.

Two finger click interferes with clickpad press-and-drag. We had to
disable it for the time being. I hope that we can bring it back once
some finer heuristics have been developed.
We will probably enable right click by adding a right button area in the
