NetworkManager' command?
Me, my x201 (thinkpad) has xubuntu-desktop + ubuntu-desktop + ubuntu-
mate-desktop installed
I tried command in terminal on each of mate|xfce|unity. On each I saw a short
delay; sometimes the panel
when it's "not working" can you ping (icmp echo request) your router?
"ping 192.168.1.1" (when using "paula" network)
if the answer is YES; you might want to try adding a "nameserver" to the
/etc/resolv.conf DNS lookup file when you've problems. eg. adding the line
"nameserver 8.8.8.8"
a comment in bugzilla.gnome noted your machine had changed bandwidth.
do you have problems with your wireless connection (paula) with other devices?
is it a crowded location (dorm/university or setting where lots of people use
wireless devices)?
is there any fridge(refrigerator), microwave oven

and my 'dirty-workaround' won't help. I'll give it some thought and play
around with the wireless on my x201 & t43 (closest I have to your t460)
& see if I come up with anything. ps: today/tomorrow i'm unlikely
just assigned bug to me. Yan don't get your hopes up; I'm not a dev,
and won't be able to fix the problem, I just HOPE to come up with
something better for you.

lximage-qt elsewhere) so decided to try that (instead of 'live').
After numerous suspends via term & gui, I've had no lost mouse-pointers!
18.10 does not have `light-locker` installed; however it is using
xscreensaver; which
sorry if this bit is spam, Alf Gaida (agaida) mentioned 'debian sid',
so I used lximage-qt on a debian box (my running DE - XFCE - so only
test of lximage-qt itself most likely)

with Xubuntu 18.10 (yes X) booted (installed image on dx6120); dist-
upgrade, 3x suspends using terminal & 3x suspends via menu with mouse-
pointer, then noticed I'd not logged out since upgrade. I logged out,
back in & repeat 3x suspends using term & 3x menu suspends and mouse-
pointer was there
Xubuntu 18.10 daily image, last resume from suspend took 59 seconds
before mouse-pointer returned. In this case I was mostly just watching
the clock (not waving it around; I started waving it around furiously at
56 seconds...)

ps: i opened all categories on first run [of gnome-software], it worked
like I believe it should (i use aptitude sorry). everything looked
correct, except it didn't return me to prompt requiring me to ^C

sorry I've decided the not-returning to prompt is normal behavior.
I enabled -proposed on x86_64 box, upgraded and had same behavior using
3.30.2-0ubuntu7
I booted another partition [x86[ install on this dx6120 (different QA
test), update & upgraded software and it has "Installed:

I tried on my primary box (ubuntu 18.10 [x86_64] with xfce, lxqt & mate
desktops added; xfce my usual).
When `gnome-software` was run from [whisker] menu, I got a "Unable to
install ...: you do not have permission to install software" when trying
to install a font (leafpad & gedit were already

/dev/sda7 /home (no format)
the /home was fedora, but / was formatted clean for 18.04 install for
test (but I installed wrong arch), it was then upgraded to 18.10.

I booted x86 thumb-drive and there are 11 entries between "American
English" and "British English (United Kingdom)" on x86/i686 installer, I
didn't even see "Australian English" (which doesn't worry me anyway [i'm
aussie])

I've marked this bug as affecting me, as when I go into settings ->
repos I too get a crash notification occasionally (about every third
entry). When no crash synaptic reports repos have changed, it updates
them and I never get to see the "Software & Updates" I do on my cosmic
(18.10) main box.
