Much the same as first post. I've tried disabling all power saving
functions with ltd success. wifi signal strength always drops down to
just 1 or 2 bars (from the full 4 bar strength) and then after minutes
or hours (length of time fluctuates), cuts out or freezes the laptop
completely (using
confirming bug for dell mini9 running karmic. this is sad, it should
just work.

i have a similar problem on my mini 9. it would be like comparing a runny nose
to a case of pneumonia. with nothing but a terminal running top, 20 to 30 %
cpp is used by netbook-launcher. the package seems to have always done this.
my pc was shipped with 8.04; when i installed the netbook
whatever was in the most recent update fixed issue for me. it now idles
with 0 cpu usage, and 8 seconds of cpu time after 10 minutes of uptime.
just earlier it was idling at 30 and matching uptime with its cpu usage
time. thanks all of you dedicated developers out there.

/boot/grub directory being incorrect. Causing the drive, which was
(hd2) on the live CD to maybe turn out to be (hd0) on the actual

The problem is much improved under Gutsy, though Network Manager still has a
hard time in situations with multiple AP to one network. Like you said, I

USB device intermittently disconnects after upgrading to feisty
Well, actually reading my own traceback tells me the cause of problem: I
have run out of disk space. I discovered this after the problem went
away, and has now resurfaced. There is no error message given until I
reboot or run a Keep backup manually. Manually running keep throws an
error message

Not sure when this changed, but in the last couple of weeks since I last
logged into one of my websites via ftp (using a link in Network
Folders), the long-ish login name has been truncated. I originally
thought this was just for display, but

For me it seems random as well. This doesn't happen every time I open a new or
existing document.
If I select italic text, it is fine, but on the same line I cannot turn it off,
