This morning some xlib11 updates were installed.
As yesterday rdesktop worked fine, and today it segfaults again and again, it
might be possible that there is a correlation.
I'm using Dapper Drake 6.06 LTS up to date.

Hmm... funny what has happened next.
Writing some text with gedit I accidently hit the `-key twice, followed by a
backspace. The enviroment froze and next I found myself logged off again, the
Xgl-server seemed to have restartet.
Enclosed the last piece of my /var/log/messages file:

After logging in again, the crash report tool gave me a Xgl report. This
might all be in the same conext.

Found a solution to my problem.
A package from ppa:irie/blender caused the problems. It installed a python3
version, which couldn't be upgraded. After uninstalling this package, the
upgrade went through.

boots and I can log in.
After being logged in, I can attach the docking station (with 2 additional
