If I disable Compiz (desktop effects), the updown move disapear... Only a

Hi,
I'm running Luicd and avidemux crashes when I want to apply a partial
filter...
Maybe it's not the same bug but I don't know ...
I select a filter, then click partial, enter starting and ending frames
for the filter and Apply.
A window appear with this :

After a Lucid=Maverick upgrade, I have no /dev/dsp devices.
I use a Pinnacle Dazzle DVC100 to get video and audio from an analog source
(like old VHS player).
I use mplayer to visualize that and mencoder to capture the video and audio.
