On system configuration -> Users -> Add New User. If the system user
contains '.' (maybe even some others characters) the system reports and
error but does not clarifies why in order to change the entry.

First, I had several accounts linked and with every upgrade or clean
install, the accounts remainded unreachable.
Had to erase "goa-1.0" and "libaccounts-glib" from .local in order to
enable the accounts (Remove and recreate doesn't work).
Finally, the pocket account
Still the same for 16.04. Still the geoclue-hostip package doesnt fix
the issue.

After every the screen is blocked, I have to write twice the password.
The first time the top bar is available but the user as seen on the
blocked screen still on. Then, I have to "cancel" the process which drop
down the "curtain" and then I have to enter the password yet

Using mount from nautilus (open with) or right from Gnome Disk, the file
in question is "mounted" as a loop device. Therefore, no opening of that
container nor questions about how to open the file.

Gnome disk... Mmm... 2 years later and noup.
Tails had solve this since that time.

Thanks Sebastien. That clarified the panorama.
After the creation of the file (and a reboot) gnome-disks do see if
there is a partition on any HD that has some resemblance to a veracrypt
encryption and if the pass was saved under "seahorse" it opens it up
automatically. Manually I get the same
