The Problem persists in Ubuntu 16.10. The workaround (removing appmenu-
qt5) does not help anymore.

Title:
No keyboards shortcuts in QT apps
To
Public bug reported:
I have a problem with my Lifecam HD-5000. I get timeouts an error-
messages with snd-indicator. After searching online I found out there is
a problem with the Lifecam not support getting the sample rate.
The problem has been fixed upstream in the kernel-sources, see
https://
As recommended I tested the latest kernel (v4.2-rc7-unstable). There are
no more error messages, so it is fixed upstream.

It is not so simple: Apparently there are two different possible
solutions:
1) The problem with the shortcuts began with the change to qt5. If
Texmaker for Ubuntu is compiled with qt4, there are no problems. This
is, why the packages from http://www.xm1math.net/texmaker/download.html
are working.
Same Problem here. According to
https://code.google.com/p/texmaker/issues/detail?id=1301 there is a
problem with the qt5.

Simply using lpr test.pdf prints just fine.
I think, it could be the bug reported (and fixed) here:
