Attached is the kdm.log from the intel crash but it happen in nvidia
too.
I'm not sure on what is causing the crash you just get a box telling you
it failed and tell the admin to get the info from kdm.log.
However once you click okay everything then displays as expected.

Looks like this might be an issue with KDE rather than the installer. I
just went onto twitter through konqueror and could select the remember
me checkbox either.

Okay that's good then I'm just trying to rule out obvious causes first.
If the cd check ran okay then on the cd you should see the following:
Folders:
casper, dist, install, isolinux, pics, pool preseed, ubuntu.
Files:
autorun.inf, md5sum.txt, readme.diskdefines, wubi.exe.

Kvm/virt-manager installed from software center doesn't allow for some functions

When installing virt-manager from software center I get no
localhost(System) option only localhost(User) . However when installed
from synaptic/apt-get/aptitude I do.
Once installed from software center I can't create a new img file as I
