My wifi adapter won't connect under Kubuntu. It works fine when I boot
the same laptop under Ubuntu 18.04, but when I boot under Kubuntu 20.04,
I get "Configuring Interface" followed by "Wireless interface (wlp1s0)
The wifi network could not be found."

Whenever I try to suspend to RAM by either closing the laptop in battery
mode or by clicking sleep on the power menu, the screen goes black, but
the laptop never fully goes to sleep. The keyboard backlight and power
button stay lit, and the computer won't wake up. The only
