If installed from cdrom, openoffice is not completely installed.
Bibliography need the database module. I can imagine that this module
was not packed due to cdrom size constrains.

my problem was not fixed by this patch:
I created the other users on my box at work some days before with gnome-
system-tools after a fresh install of karmic-rc, but am not able to
change passwords with the gui. I tried with random password and with
typing a password two times by hand.
I had

applied patch, so the old title is correct for the situation after
applying the patch and was not plain wrong before.

Today i recognized this buggy behavior (numbers in wrong eventually
hebraic -- i don't know -- font in exported pdf) with newest openoffice
from ubuntu. I had to create PDF from a document with heavy formula use.
My workaround with best result: Print to generic postscript printer,
choose print to

websites.
It seems to me that data records
doday i (automatically) updated firefox under windows.
Passwords are also lost there so maybe this is an upstream bug.

shows a patch for kdebase so that nspluginwrapper also works with konqueror as
it does with firefox
this could be incorporated in feiste

here rescue mode also is broken after installing kde-desktop (installed
kubuntu boot logo) on an amd64 installation with ati hd 3200 graphics.
I must admit that i did not use rescue mode for a while, maybe rescue
mode was broken before but i suspect kubuntu :-; due to many other
problems with kdm

Excuse me, after upgrading to oneiric i overlooked the fact that now
openjdk was the default jvm on the box with intel hd graphic.
The problem is not observable with openjdk, only with sun jdk.
So it is NOT a problem of graphics driver. With java-6-sun jre all
problems also exist on Intel®
