Mmm could be. I think the other related to apache is when you use its module
cause on my installation (that I use fcgid and not libapache2-mod-php5) only
was in /etc/php5/conf.d/suhosin.ini. For now is working good :)

This is related more to the source package of Qt4 (qt4-x11-4.4.0)
The problem is, I need (and is needed to develop...) the libphonon from the Qt4
package (not the one from kde...).
So, i've tried to download the source package, then i've change the debian

realse again i have this slow problem on scrolling... no matter if is
nVidia or ATI restricted driver...
I think is more related to Firefox than a video driver... since like i
said, in RC release was solved and the scrolling

Could this change be added? Since When we need to use phonon fro Qt4 and not
from KDE, this is needed.

Good news then... Since in my case, I prefer to use the Phonon from Qt than
KDE, since my application/s will be multi-platforms... So, is better to play
with Qt phonon than KDE one...
Yeah, seems there is no problem of how WE use Phonon from KDE, but we depend
of KDE... As I explained before here,
I am waiting for that response too.. we need Qt phonon... or a wayt that
apps/bindings of Qt could be compiled with KDE phonon at least... (which i
prefer the first option).

Recently I tried to remove acer-wmi module (sudo modprobe -r acer-wmi)
and so far typing on konsole has no more lags at all and seems the
system is quiet stable. So, seems this is what causing the system

Hi again,
I've installed Kubuntu karmic in 2 more laptops than mine (also Acer aspire
5520 series) and with the same problem.
Will devs take care about this? or will have to switch to another distro?

Well... no... still persist... when I try to add, for example, Firefox to
favorites or the plasma panel, it shows only the gears icon. And wort, in the
panel the desktop icon access is badly created, since it does not launch
Firefox... it creates nothing...
In favorites, does work... but
Also, when editing the menu of kickoff, you have many items (including KDE4
apps) that appears twice. At least for me (kubuntu latest BETA) when i try to
edit the menu, has that behavior, which does not occurs when browsing kickoff.
If i install Lancelot plasmoid, i could see all the item
