Hi,
unfortunately I am not able to re-produce this bug anymore. It have not
happened me for a very long time and it had not any specific rules how
to make it appear.

I am sorry I am unable to follow your commands because I have chosen
another solution that worked for me. I have figured out that problem was
in /var/lib/dpkg/info preinstall and postinstall files (they had 0bytes
length and almost all related packages had the same problem) and wh

@Aldo Yes, you can fix it even on 14.04. You can download this new
package from http://packages.ubuntu.com/vivid/bcmwl-kernel-source and
install it directly typing: dpkg -i bcmwl-kernel-source_6.30.223.248
+bdcom-0ubuntu2_amd64.deb and then it should be ok. Package has not any
other dependencies th
