Hi guys,
I get my ubuntu downloads from my local isp (as it doesn't count towards
my download limit) which has an ubuntu mirror, all is good and well
updating wise, but I can't seam to find the ISO images for the latest
alphas. The kubuntu alpha iso's are there, just not the

any help links to do that, either. lol"
There's no real way to downgrade, best option is to reinstall or keep
troubleshooting.

I had the same problem, i.e. very long scan time when starting Gparted
in Ubuntu 7.10 32-bit.
I disabled Floppy in the BIOS (I have no floppy installed), and the

have to be listed as a default application in:
System > Preferences > Preferred Applications
