I will run a test with the LiveCD. IIRC no matter if you use the proprietrary
ati driver, you can even use vesa driver, the hang occassionally occurs. Maybe

It seems like somehow latex tries to interpret some previously generated PDF
files as TEX files.
I have a Doxyfile, and doxygen command runs without errors (as far as I can
tell). Output files are written, but when I am about to issue make from
doc/latex I get the above
